A Little About Me

I'm 19 years old. I'm a freshman at Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit, PA. It's kinda nice to only be a couple hours from home. I grew up in a Christian school. I have played softball since I was 7 and am now playing here at BBC and loving it! I also love to play piano whenever I have free time-freetime? ha... not here... well, I try to play once in a while...I am a pre-counseling major. I hope to one day work with teens/kids in some way. I've considered possibly social work, high school guidance counselor, and seeral other options, but I know I don't want to be an "office counselor." I have been growing closer to God over the last few years and truly learning who He is and what He means to me. I desire to go to Haiti someday either short term or possibly long term if thats what God would have for me to do. I have a burden for the inner cities. This summer (July 2007) I will be interning with Vision for Youth on their New Hope missions trips to both Chicago and Philadelphia. I cannot wait to see what God has in store for me there. I have a wonderful family. My dad's amazing and a huge support for me. My older brother is one of my best friends even though we may not always get along the greatest, I love him and can't wait to see what God's going to do in his life! My little sister is amazing as well... she's a little softball player and musician! She's got an awesome future ahead of her!... I don't see my mom a whole lot, but when I do we have fun together. I'm thankful for the family God has given me. Even though we have faced some rough spots over the years, God has been faithful and allowed me to learn many amazing lessons that make me the person I am today.
